Thursday Thirteen #6

Thirteen Things on my schedule the rest of this week

1. The school spring concert tomorrow. I missed the Christmas (or winter) concert so this is a must-see.
2. Babysitting. I'm trying out watching a three-year-old boy for money. I don't know if I can handle an every-day thing, but maybe two or three times a week will be fine. Today was the first day and he played well with Bud and Cutie.
3. Second grade carnival. I need to pack up some lightly-used toys and books the kids can buy with their "scholar dollars".
4. Park clean-up fundraiser for school. If we get 100 volunteer hours, a corporation will give the school $1000.
5. End-of-year school picnic to mess up the park right after the clean-up.
6. Ant's baptism and confirmation. He is so ready.
7. Feed and entertain extended family coming to town for Ant's baptism. Any ideas?
8. Finish reading Mary, Martha, and Me: Seeking the One Thing that is Needful by Camille Fronk Olsen.
9. Read Housekeeping with Kids by Tara Aronson. I picked this up at Costco last year and I think I really need it now.
10. Clean out the refrigerator. We are running out of space.
11. Go to bed. I'm falling asleep as I type this and I don't.
12. think.I.
13. can.finish.it.....(hope you didn't fall asleep reading it!)

Such a busy week, but you have some great things planned.

Feeding extended family? The taco bar idea sounds great. How about a bbq? Salads, hot dogs and hamburgers? boiled or roasted corn on the cob?

My list is up.

I just hate cleaning out the refrigerator. You maybe find something green and hairy in there!

Wow! You have a lot going on! Hmmm... Food ideas. Pizza, chips, hot dogs and hamburgers. Keep it easy. Buy premade potato and noodle salad. Not fancy enough? We had a bunch of folks over for my sons party, I was able to keep the food easy and relax with the family and friends. It was fun!

Sorry I've commented again, I've been thinking about this post for some reason. ;)
