TT-Weight

 

Thirteen reasons why I've gained weight lately.

Although I'm not necessarily overweight yet, I'm concerned about the extra 5-8 pounds that have come along in the last six months or so. I can't seem to shake them off like I used to.

  1. I'll soon be 34, my metabolism is changing, and I haven't changed my eating habits.
  2. I hate to exercise and sweat.
  3. My gym membership that my husband gave me for Christmas expired, not that I used it much anyway (see #2).
  4. I eat ice cream as a late-night snack about 3 times a week.
  5. If chocolate is around, I eat it.
  6. I blog during any free time.
  7. Changed medication?
  8. My periods are so irregular--maybe I'm just bloated.
  9. If I want to exercise without children hanging on me, I have to do it early in the morning or late at night, the times I'm the most tired.
  10. It's summer, too hot to cook, get fast food.
  11. We've had two birthdays in the family recently and I can't let the leftover cake go to waste.
  12. I just bought a scale--maybe I've always weighed this much and didn't know it.
  13. I hate to exercise. Oops, already said that. Any exercise ideas for a beginner?
